Job Type: Full-time / Temporary to Permanent
For our international client, we are seeking a Sample Coordinator to perform tasks and training to develop the necessary skills for sample and standard handling to support laboratory operations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct various inventory tracking activities such as receipt, check-in, login, labeling, inventory, transport, and check-out.
- Communicate the status of tasks to supervisors and relevant laboratory staff.
- Train on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), regulatory guidelines, and storage requirements.
- Assist with responses to environmental unit alarms and participate in on-call duties as needed.
- Complete daily work assignments accurately, promptly, and safely.
- Provide assistance to the Sample Coordinator and perform administrative tasks within the Sample Management department.
- Follow SOPs and client-specific procedures with minimal direct supervision.
Profile:
- High/Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant academic or vocational qualifications.
- Experience (0 to 1 year) that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to maintain detailed and accurate documentation according to SOPs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
