For our international client we are looking for Receptionist able to perform a variety of reception duties and facilities management tasks, including welcoming and registering visitors and contractors, handling incoming calls, and managing deliveries.
Location: Zaventem – onsite
Job Type: Full-time/Temporary to perm
Responsibilities:
- Welcome, register, and accompany visitors and contractors.
- Handle incoming phone calls and manage food and catering deliveries.
- Manage visitor/contractor passes, access cards, and keys.
- Receive, scan, and distribute mail and packages.
- Stock and reorder stationery and break room supplies.
- Support colleagues with daily requests through the online Facilities ticketing system.
- Assist in conference organization and conference room setup.
- Conduct daily checks and report failures for assigned areas.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and Facilities management.
- Act as a point of contact for other departments.
- Perform document storage in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Facilities policies and procedures.
- Respond to facility-related emergencies as needed.
- Support Facilities project work as required.
- Provide support with health and safety matters where needed.
Profile:
- High/Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job. In some cases, a combination of appropriate education, training, and directly related experience may be considered sufficient.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Effective multi-tasker with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Dutch; knowledge of French is a plus.
- Team player with strong MS Office skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Flexibility in a fast-moving and challenging office environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and utilize time efficiently.
- Accuracy and business awareness.
Offer:
- Contract: temp to perm
- Work is performed in a lab environment with potential exposure to biohazard and chemical hazards.
- Work schedule: 08:30 - 16:30.
