For our international client we are looking for Receptionist able to perform a variety of reception duties and facilities management tasks, including welcoming and registering visitors and contractors, handling incoming calls, and managing deliveries.

Location: Zaventem – onsite

Job Type: Full-time/Temporary to perm


Responsibilities:

  • Welcome, register, and accompany visitors and contractors.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and manage food and catering deliveries.
  • Manage visitor/contractor passes, access cards, and keys.
  • Receive, scan, and distribute mail and packages.
  • Stock and reorder stationery and break room supplies.
  • Support colleagues with daily requests through the online Facilities ticketing system.
  • Assist in conference organization and conference room setup.
  • Conduct daily checks and report failures for assigned areas.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and Facilities management.
  • Act as a point of contact for other departments.
  • Perform document storage in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Facilities policies and procedures.
  • Respond to facility-related emergencies as needed.
  • Support Facilities project work as required.
  • Provide support with health and safety matters where needed.


Profile:

  • High/Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job. In some cases, a combination of appropriate education, training, and directly related experience may be considered sufficient.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Effective multi-tasker with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Dutch; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Team player with strong MS Office skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Flexibility in a fast-moving and challenging office environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and utilize time efficiently.
  • Accuracy and business awareness.


Offer:

  • Contract: temp to perm
  • Work is performed in a lab environment with potential exposure to biohazard and chemical hazards.
  • Work schedule: 08:30 - 16:30.
