For our international client we are looking for Logistics Tracking Coordinator to monitor, update, and manage shipment statuses, providing clear and accurate information on shipments in transit. This role is essential in ensuring timely communication of delivery confirmations and addressing delays or transit issues that arise.
Location: Zaventem - remotely
Job Type: Full-time/Temporary to perm
Responsibilities:
1. Transit Status Monitoring:
o Track shipments actively while they are in transit, providing regular status updates to relevant stakeholders.
o Monitor shipment timelines, proactively identifying any potential delays, and collaborating with logistics partners to resolve issues.
2. Delivery Confirmation:
o Confirm delivery of shipments upon arrival at designated sites or client locations, ensuring successful completion and documentation of each shipment.
o Maintain accurate records of shipment statuses, delivery confirmations, and any adjustments made during transit.
3. Delayed Shipment Management:
o Provide timely information and updates on delayed shipments to internal teams, clients, and external partners, outlining reasons for delays and estimated resolution times.
o Communicate with carriers to obtain real-time data on transit issues and escalate delays as needed to ensure swift action.
4. Client and Stakeholder Communication:
o Serve as the main point of contact for inquiries about shipment statuses, providing detailed and clear updates on transit progress, estimated delivery times, and any issues encountered.
o Collaborate with internal logistics and customer service teams to address client needs, including providing customized tracking insights as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of shipment tracking systems, logistics software, and the ability to interpret transit data.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder interaction.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving logistics issues.
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs processes.
- Proficiency in tracking and logistics management software.
