Job Title: Accountant - Financial Closure Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial closure processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors based in the US
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, able to lead an external audit for BEGAAP
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Provide support for financial planning and analysis.
• Experience completing the management report associated with the year end audit for the National Bank

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English (Compulsory)
