For one of our international clients, we are looking for a Quality Control Technician II to work in a chemistry environment.


The QC Technician II is responsible for performing quality control tasks to support various Value Streams. This includes ensuring the quality of materials and products through.


Responsabilities:


  • MQC on raw materials, mixtures, and formulations
  • Analytical HPLC runs, Mass Spectrometry, Analytical Quantifications, and QC sampling of oligonucleotides
  • Conduct MQC on raw materials, mixtures, and formulations.
  • Perform Analytical HPLC runs, Mass Spectrometry, Analytical Quantifications, and QC sampling of oligonucleotides.
  • Operate HPLCs, Mass Specs, CE, and other necessary lab instruments.
  • Assist in processing and documenting all orders and projects.
  • Interpret QC results and identify when further investigation is needed.
  • Complete required checklists and verify others' work as necessary.
  • Perform calibration, maintenance, and cleaning tasks on designated equipment as scheduled or requested.
  • Maintain reagent bottles, pressurized gas cylinders, and manifold liquid systems to ensure successful operation.
  • Change waste containers and dispose of waste material appropriately.
  • Execute necessary decontamination procedures.
  • Document all aspects of production accurately.
  • Follow all work instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures, including customer-specific and general SOPs.
  • Assist shipping and customer service departments with oligo-related questions.
  • Maintain awareness of product defects that may arise from improper task performance.
  • Receive additional cross-training as specified by management.
  • Report any issues to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to health, cleanliness, personal practices, and clothing requirements to prevent adverse effects on product quality.
  • Contribute to quality and environmental management by adhering to ISO 9001, 13485, and 14001 standards and internal procedures.


Profile:


  • High school diploma required (preferably in a science-related field).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field preferred or equivalent job experience.
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Fluency in Dutch and proficiency in English, or fluency in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work punctually and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability to process changes.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional interaction with employees and all levels of management.
  • Multi-tasking capability.
  • Adherence to defined protocols.
  • Occasionally exert 25-50 kg of force and frequently exert 10-25 kg of force.
  • Constantly (67%-100% of the workday):Reaching, using fingers/grasping/feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion.
  • Frequently (34%-66% of the workday):Sitting, standing, walking, lifting, bending, pushing/pulling.
  • Occasionally (33% or less of the workday):Climbing stairs, stools, ramps, ladders.
  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to read printed material and distinguish colors.
  • Ability to accurately read measurements on equipment.
  • Ability to prepare and read written documentation and use a computer.
  • Late shift from 1:30 to 10pm ( temporary position - replacement)
