For one of our international clients, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician (late shift) to work in a chemistry environment. For this position you will support the reliability and sustainability of custom automated laboratory equipment in a high throughput environment.
Location: On-site
Department: Equipment Services
Responsibilities:
· You will ensure operation of custom automated laboratory equipment by completing preventive and unplanned service in compliance with the company quality system.
· You will ensure troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluidics, and optical devices/systems, as well as PLC-controlled systems
· You will coordinate events with manufacturing to ensure preventative and unplanned maintenance is completed.
· You will gather and review data to support maintenance database for assets and instrumentation.
· You are able to follow Standard Operating Procedure and Work Instruction documents while performing maintenance procedures.
· You will recommend actions for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
· You will collaborate among cross-functional teams to support and accomplish production objectives.
· You are able to resolve complex problems working with a team and individually.
· You will follow the safety policies, and identify, correct, and report potential safety hazards.
· You are able to execute multiple assigned activities in parallel to support production and engineering improvements.
· You will perform general maintenance tasks in and around the facility.
· You will report any problems to team leader or management.
Profile:
· You have High School Diploma or equivalent required (electromechanical) or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or maintenance-related program or equivalent technical education or experience preferred.
· You have minimum of two years directly related technical experience preferred.
· You have knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluidics, optical devices/systems, control systems, and other equipment
· You are ability to read and understand part drawings and specifications required.
· You are able to adapt and to perform a variety of duties,
· You have strong analytical skills.
· You are highly organized with the ability to work on multiple project
· You already have experience with automation equipment testing and troubleshooting preferred
