For one of our clients, we are looking for a laboratory technician I/

Responsibilities:

• Assist Technician II and III during experiments;
• Prepare synthesis plates to be ready for synthesis (washing, drying, fritting and loading membranes);
• Perform quality control checks;
• Optical density measurements;
• Dispose failing fractions;
• Perform lab cleaning and decontamination protocols;
• Keep the lab orderly and functional;
• Keep all the reagent and water bottles at levels to achieve successful operation;
• Change waste containers and dispose of waste material;
• Keep stock levels sufficient in the lab
• Assist with general laboratory maintenance;
• Maintain accurate and detailed product & instrument records;
• ·Communicate with all levels of peers and management;
• Perform other duties as specified by management;
• Report any problems to Management.

Profile:

• High-school degree (a science related field is a plus) or equivalent job experience;
• Knowledge of internet, Microsoft word and Microsoft Excel;
• Be punctual and maintain a high level of organization;
• Be able to troubleshoot problems and act accordingly;
• Be able to be on feet for a few hours at a time;
• Able to adapt to changes in the process;
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Able to work in a group or independently;
• Able to read, write and speak in English fluently. Other languages are a plus;
• Early shift and Late shift : 6 am to 2pm - 1:30pm to 10pm
