For our international client, we are looking for a R&D test engineer based in the area of Charleroi.

Main Responsibilities

• You are able to generate new ideas and proposals for R&D projects.
• You will contribute to the development of next generation of capacitors, focusing on testing and enhancing designs.
• You will design and execute safe experimental setups, run tests and analyze results potentially utilizing physical modeling techniques.
• You will collaborate with global R&D team to promote knowledge sharing and ensure high quality deliverables.
• You will support projects teams with the installation, execution and analysis of tests, measurements and characterizations.
• You will plan laboratory activities efficiently to meet team and project goals.
• You will test power electronics, film capacitors and metallized films using appropriate equipment and procedures.

Profile

• You have a Master of science in electrical or electromechanics engineering.
• You already have minimum of 3 years experience in high voltage electrical testing.
• You have strong analytical skills, experience in planning, conducting and analyzing experiments.
• You have experience on project management 
• You speak English and French is a good to have (proficient in written and spoken)
